The Midwest Cup is a golf tournament that brings the best players in the central US together to compete in an interstate team event. The mission of the Midwest Cup is to develop and foster goodwill between the participating states and raise money for juniors in golf. We are a registered 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. The tournament committee has earmarked "The Evans Scholarship Fund" and various other golf associations junior programs as recipients.
The tournament is rotated around the midwest among the participating states. Players are chosen from the state golf association points list, with captains from each team determining who to invite and how the players will be paired against one another. The goal of the event is to become the premier amateur event in the Midwest. In addition to the team event, there is a 54 hole individual competition with the winners getting exemptions into the North/South Amateurs and other regional tournaments. Just wanted to extend a thank you for everything you did to make this year’s mid-west cup a success. I heard only positive things from a lot of different players in regard to the host site and the competition itself. This was my first year playing but I certainly hope it’s not my last!

The Culvers Midwest Cup has evolved into one of the premier Mid-Amateur events in the nation. Not only are the golf courses first class, but the event in its entirety is one of the best that I have been involved in. From the competition, to the wives party, and with accommodations, everything is top notch.
