The Midwest Cup is a golf tournament that brings together the best players from the center of the United States to compete in an interstate team event. The mission of the Midwest Cup is to develop and encourage goodwill among participating states and raise funds for young people in golf. We are a 501 (c) (3) registered charitable organization. The tournament committee has assigned “The Evans Scholarship Fund” and other youth programs of golf associations as recipients.
The tournament revolves around the Midwest between the participating states. The players are chosen from the list of points of the state golf association, with captains from each team that determine who to invite and how the players will pair with each other. The goal of the event is to become the main amateur event in the Midwest. In addition to the team event, there is an individual 54-hole competition in which the winners get exemptions for the North / South Amateurs and other regional tournaments.

Midwest Cup Player Reviews
Just wanted to extend a thank you for everything you did to make this year’s mid-west cup a success. I heard only positive things from a lot of different players in regard to the host site and the competition itself. This was my first year playing but I certainly hope it’s not my last!

The Culvers Midwest Cup has evolved into one of the premier Mid-Amateur events in the nation. Not only are the golf courses first class, but the event in its entirety is one of the best that I have been involved in. From the competition, to the wives party, and with accommodations, everything is top notch.
